Crafting “Echoes of Wonderland,” an overhead shadow puppet show, was a profoundly personal and imaginative endeavor. This adaptation of “Alice in Wonderland,” filtered through my childhood imagination and set to the mesmerizing sounds of Pink Floyd's "Echoes," provided a unique canvas for artistic exploration.

Throughout the creative process, I stripped the story down to its essence, focusing on its ability to ignite the imagination and inspire dreams. This journey into Wonderland wasn't just about retelling a classic tale; it was about delving into the depths of my own creativity and discovering the transformative power of storytelling.

In bringing the show to life, I explored optical art and embraced the surreal nature of the narrative. Each scene became a canvas for expression, a playground where whimsy and curiosity reigned supreme. By leaning into the emotions that the story evoked in me and channeling the sense of wonder that it instilled, I found myself coming alive in unexpected ways.

"Echoes of Wonderland" wasn't just a performance; it was a testament to the magic of childhood imagination and the enduring power of storytelling. Through this project, I rediscovered the joy of dreaming and the limitless possibilities of the creative mind. It is a journey that continues to shape me as an artist, reminding me to always embrace the wonder and curiosity that resides within.
